Type:  Boat dive on a wall

Travel directions:  Lochaline follow the A82 Glasgow to Fort William road as far as the turnoff marked 'Corran Ferry', 8 miles south west of Fort William. As you leave the ferry, turn left onto the A861 following the signs for Strontian. Turn left off the A861 just before Strontian for the A884, signposted to Lochaline  

 

Harbour / slip: Loch Aline, Tobermory or Oban

 

Parking directions:    Carpark Lochaline pier Oban - end of pier or leaving oban heading north on the steep hill to the right is a free car park takes 10 mins to walk back to the pier. 

 

Dive Information:  The wall runs parrallel with the shore, it drops from 16 - 29m and 30 - 65m. Check which way the tide is flowing and go with the flow.

Dive reports: John Nicolson 22/7/07 Eastwood divers did a very pleasant drift along this wall and its good for photography as long as the tide is not to fast. If you drift slowly it takes 20mins to go from one end to the other.
