Just to remind those of you who have forgotten. This is the time of year the dogfish get together for a beach party and the main one is usually held next to Furnace quarry. As you are approaching the quarry there is a small car park for 10 cars opposite a few houses, park here. Get kitted up and walk straight down to the shore and you are there "The dogfish dive"
The mermaids purse
Inside is a little dogfish
And the dogfish, You have to love these fish Soooo cute
They are so sleepy you can carefully lift them.

Dived there on sunday with Ian McArthur did 50m+ and a runtime of 103 min
Ian's backup aladin had a headache.
Just as well he was using the vision or he would still have been there.
The man himself
Saw the odd fish as well

Stew, it's showing a 15min stop at 9m. Then there would be an even longer one one at 6m...then a HUGE one at 3m. The Aladin favours shallow stops.

ahh!
never dived with one before, always used a suunto as a back up.
i find the alladins fiddly to operate & work out at the best of times (on land).
suppose its like everthing else, just a matter of getting used to it.
cheers for the info.

I use an old aladin pro the grey one. I think they stopped making them about 20 years ago. The good thing about the old pro is it calculates past 100m and it has user changable batterys.
This site has the possibility of a solstice site except a bit to close to the houses

Sounds about par for the course.
I've dived Stingray Station in the Red Sea - No Stingrays. Shark Reef - No Sharks, but Dolphin Alley now, there was a sight to behold.
Sorry.
I was bored on that dive.
