Type of Dive: Shore dive, good training site.

Suggested experience: Novice

Travel directions: From Glasgow travel west on the M8 onto the A82 then turn left onto the A817 turning right at the roundabout onto the A814 and continue until you come to Finnart ocean terminal and its 100m past there. Google map

Parking directions: Park on the other side of the road, on the road leading to the Oil Storage Depot gate. Make sure you don't block the access to the Depot. Walk across the road and through the gap in the trees and down the 29 steps as in the picture below.

Site entry/exit: The steps are behind the tree in the picture below. Enter the water beside the rails on the left from the old boathouse.

Underwater directions: Fin straight out from the old jetty and pass lots of junk put there for something interesting to look at and you get to so small ledges and then a muddy slope to 30m

Site Hazards: Care should be taken coming down the stairs with your kit as the steps can be slippy
