Wreck Information: The Madam Alice is lying fully intact and not broken. She lies on gently sloping seabed with the least depth 32 metres at the bow and lying with 45 degree list to port. The holds are open and empty. This wreck is exceptionally silty, large nets over gun on stern and draped over engine room area and bow. Bow collapsing and collision damage visible on port behind Fo'cstle. Still has brass on her but requires digging. Surrounded by sea pens on a silty bottom the wreck is for advanced divers that are comfortable with zero viz and decompression and is almost always dark. Single hold coaster with rear engine room and gun mounted on stern. Harbour / slip: Oban, Lochaline. Parking directions: Oban - end of pier or leaving oban heading north on the steep hill to the right is a free car park takes 10 mins to walk back to the pier. Google Distance from harbour: 2.8 miles from Oban and 11 miles from Lochaline. Lat & Long: N56°27.2480' W005°29.4990' Chart: GB 2724 Depth: 43 metres.
