Parking directions: Google Google
Depth: 6m
Site entry/exit: Get kitted up and then walk through a narrow gate and down on to a small beach upstream of the bridge.
Underwater directions: The current is at its strongest here so jump in and drift down under the first bridge. After the bridge, the current slackens and you can spend time looking at the fish and in the cracks between rocks for eels. The River shallows rapidly just before the road bridge and after the bridge, there are two areas to exit one above the bridge and one between the bridges.
Air & Nitrox: Capenwray
Site Hazards: Rocks, Cold, Tree stumps, Branches and it may look calm and easy on the surface but it can turn into a drift dive which can be very tiring fighting to get back to where you entered.
Nearest Public phone: To Follow
Mobile Network service: Most work here
Pub: Snooty fox tavern The Sun Inn
Café: There is often a burger van near the bridge.

Other comments: Best time to dive here is when there has been no rain for a while as it reduces the viz. Check the forecast for the dive day it's a river so it can rise while you are in the water. Also, there are public toilets on the bridge.
