Type of Dive: Clashfarland point is a good shore dive on the Isle of Cumbrae great for large groups of divers.

Travel Directions: From the M8 heading west take the A737 to Saltcoats turn of onto the A760 towards Lochwinnoch and carry on to Largs. In Largs head to the ferry to Cumbrae Leaving the ferry turn left and travel 1.4 miles arrive at Clashfarland point.

Parking directions: Park at the side of the road beside the small path down to the bay, don't park near the bend.

Site entry/exit: Kit up on the grass near the bay and walk in. it's easy to put your fins on at the far side which is about one meter deep.
Underwater directions: From the bay fin out and to the right Its best to stay shallow no deeper than 17 meters and come back the same way.
