Underwater directions: Gallanach Bay is easy to navigate by swimming west out from the slip over sand and shingle with kelp to around 8m and then turning south until you hit the reef. Explore the reef then return east to get back to shore. It's a long reef so there is plenty to explore and common sightings include octopus, crabs, nudibranchs and lobster.
