Type of Dive: Newtons Cove is a very good shallow shore dive, great for night diving too.
Suggested Experience: Novice with good buoyancy.
Travel directions: From the A354 heading south for Weymouth. Straight through North Quay roundabout onto Rodwell Rd/A354 Turn left onto Rodwell Ave and at next roundabout turn right into Newton-road and continue to the sea.
Parking directions: Drop off the dive kit at the small roundabout on Newtons road as you get to the sea and park in the Car park 160m back up Newtons road at the roundabout.

Tides: Tide tables Willy weather Best dived at High tide.
Depth: 8m
Site entry/exit: From the road walk down to the promenade and down the steps and put on your fins holding onto the rail. It's best to exit here as well.
Underwater directions: I basically head out on a compass course and come back on the reciprocal course or for the reef its 120m on 30 deg and head along the reef for 15 mins and come back on 215 which usually gets me back close to the exit point.

Site Hazards: Occasional boat traffic, The seabed is silty here so try to stay off the bottom.
