Type of Dive: Port Mellon is a very easy shore dive under the cliff in good conditions

Parking directions: Park in the rising sun hotel carpark if you just have one car and remember to go in and buy a snack.

Tides: Tide tables   Best to dive at high slack.

Depth: 8m Max

Site entry/exit: Walk down the slipway and enter the water on the sandy beach exit at the same place. See the picture below.

Underwater directions: Keep the cliff on your left shoulder along the bottom and explore all the cracks in the cliff, there is plenty to see and photograph. Continue around into the bay at the back of the cliff and retrace your fin strokes at a shallower depth back into the bay.

Air & Nitrox: Atlantic scuba or Cornish diving in Falmouth or Seaways diving in Penryn.
