Tides: Tide tables

Depth:  25m

Site entry/exit:  entry/exit over large stones on the beach

Underwater directions:  From the shore head South, and follow the boulder reef on your left that is partially covered in kelp to around 12m at high water, then turn due East into the next bay. This bay is of a coarse sandy and shingly bottom composition suitable for scallops. Swim right across this bay for 10 minutes and onto the next kelp-free smooth boulder reef which runs North/South. Follow this South for a stunning comparison to the bay, as the whole formation drops down to 20 - 25m and is covered in brittle stars providing a white rolling topography. Getting back is easy navigation, just follow the reef back North, then turn West and you will be back to the entrance of the first bay.
