Type of Dive: Sron Nam Brathan on Loch Sunart is a great shore dive with plenty to see and good for U/W Photography.
Suggested Experience: Experienced and fit diver due to currents and steep climb up and down the hill

Parking directions: There is parking for a max of two cars. Park on the same side as the gate.

Depth: 40m+
Site entry/exit: Go through the gate and follow the path down to the water. It's a five min walk so in full kit you might want to do it in two trips.
Underwater directions: Surface swim across the bay (East,Left) and drop down when you see the crash barrier on the road above as in the map below. There are lots of sponges, Hydroids, some red and Pink fingers, plumose anemones and big boulders the deeper you go. There is a reef on the steep-sided slope as you fin down and across the wall to the left. as you fin back to the entry/exit there is a large area of dead seabed were boats have been and wrecked the seabed. at this point you know you're very near the exit point.
