Distance from Glasgow: 55miles to A83 roadside parking for shore access. Alternative boat launch at St Catherine’s Slipway
Parking directions: Shore dive: Follow A83 towards Inveraray past the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, follow the A83 past the chevrons at Strone Point, parking is a ¼ mile further on.
Boat Dive: Leaving Glasgow on the A82 turn left at Tarbet onto the A83, through Arrochar and over the rest and be thankful, turn left onto the A815. Continue to the village of St Catherine’s. Park at St Catherine’s Slipway opposite derelict Hotel

Dive Report: Boat Dived on 22-6-13. Fairly steep slope. Weed and Kelp covered boulder slope to around 10m, thinning to coarse sand, then sand and mud/silt mix. Dozens of fireworks anemones between 15-30m depth. Visibility was easily 10m+ @ 30m on the day. Abundant Dogfish.
