Wildersmouth Beach

Type of Dive: Wildersmouth Beach is an easy shore dive very close to the town in Ilfracombe in a north-west facing cove.

Suggested Experience: Novice.

Travel directions: From the east head for Taunton then Barnstaple to Ilfracombe.then follow signs for the Landmark Theatre.

Parking directions: There is a pay and display carpark at the walkway down to the beach or at the theatre 50m from the beach.

Site entry/exit:  There is a walkway down to the beach and a simple walk into the water.

Underwater directions: Its a small cove so just explore the mainly a white sand bottom with interesting grey rock formations.

Other comments: This does not seem to be a popular dive site so you will probably have the cove to yourself.
